Our Method
The rules behind these 6 pages: our sources, our checks and our commercial disclosure.

What we earn and how
Some links on this site are partner links: if a reader opens an account through one, we may be paid a commission at no additional cost to them. We are not Capital.com and we do not act for it; nothing here is financial advice. That arrangement does not buy a verdict: the facts and the conclusion on these pages read the same whether or not anyone uses those links.
Updates and corrections
Every page shows when it was last reviewed, and the underlying KE material was refreshed on 2026-07-07. A date moves only when the content behind it moves; we do not re-stamp pages to look fresh.
Where our facts come from
We work from primary material - the register of Capital Markets Authority (CMA Kenya), governing online forex under the Capital Markets (Online Foreign Exchange Trading) Regulations, 2017. Three licence categories: (1) Dealing Online Foreign Exchange Broker (principal/market maker), (2) Non-Dealing Online Foreign Exchange Broker (STP/agency), (3) Online Foreign Exchange Money Manager. Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) oversees the broader FX market. Register: licensees.cma.or.ke, Capital.com's legal documents, and the conditions it publishes for clients in KE. The register itself is public - licensees.cma.or.ke - so any licence claim on this site can be re-checked by the reader in a minute. Secondary sources - user-review platforms, press reports - are used for reputation, never for figures.
